Congrats to Dr. Rashmi Sharma on ACS Funding

We are proud to announce that Rashmi Sharma, MD, MHS, assistant professor (General Internal Medicine) and CPCCE Director of EDI, has received a $1.2 million grant from the American Cancer Society to conduct her four-year study “Care Inequities in Advanced Cancer & Limited-English Proficiency.” 

The project's objective is to identify targets for improving the quality of palliative care for patients with advanced cancer and limited-English proficiency.
