Winter '24 Newsletter

Dear Cambia Palliative Care Center of Excellence Community,

Happy New Year!  I appreciate the opportunity that a new year brings for both reflection and a fresh start as I look forward to the year ahead.  Here at the Center, we are looking forward to 2024 as a year of ongoing growth and community building.  Towards the end of last year, our leadership group joined together for a retreat at the UW South Campus Center.  The purposes of this retreat were to build community and connection, reflect on the Center’s mission, vision, and values, and to begin a process of strategic planning and visioning to carry us forward into our next phase.  I’m looking forward to continuing this strategic planning and visioning work this year as we continue to seek ways to improve the Center and our collective work.

In this issue of the newsletter, we are excited to introduce you to a few more members of our teams, share updates from some of our education and research programs, and connect you with opportunities for activities here at the Center and beyond...
