Integrative Oncology Palliative Care Program

The Center for Integrative Oncology and Palliative Care Social Work at the UW School of Social Work is dedicated to supporting the next generation of oncology social work scholars and practitioners.

Established in 2018, the Center takes a social justice approach to oncology and palliative care and aims to prepare culturally adept researchers and practitioners who are dedicated to addressing disparities in cancer and end-of-life care based on race and ethnicity, disability, gender and sexual identity, geographic location, income and education.

Treuman katz center for pediatric bioethics and palliative care

Cambia continues to partner with the Treuman Katz Center for Pediatric Bioethics and Palliative Care. The Treuman Katz Center serves as a national resource for pediatric bioethics and palliative care scholarship. Treuman Katz Center investigators conduct research to improve quality of life, medical decision-making and communication for children with serious illness and their families as well as to address the complex bioethical issues affecting families, healthcare institutions and society.
